Steve's not there anymore

In Pictures Australia Zoo

                                                    We had a really good day at the Zoo.



 We walked all day and watched the shows, it is such a huge place. You can use the shuttle to get to and fro.

Even though Steve is no longer there you can see him everywhere you go...on huge posters!!!!!
We saw lots of birds and snakes too.

















Dingoes and huge kangaroos. Giant tortoises, red pandas and iguanas hiding in the trees.
Cassowaries which are huge birds that are almost the same as emus, just have lovely colours on their heads.
The Tasmanian devils, which have feet like big rodents.

                                         Watched the croc show in the Colosseum. 

Yummy Rat for Tea

Walked through roo heaven and stroked and fed the roo's. It was great to actually be so close to them.

The koalas are so cute, but boy do the smell!!! 

I even fed the elephants by hand. They had wet trunks..yuk!!!!
